Ardale was established in 2012 by seasoned developer Emma Maye and her husband, Chartered Accountant and Growth Strategist Alan Hegarty. Having held various positions at Castlethorn, Emma brings a wealth of experience and inside knowledge to Ardale where she leads with vision and great resolve.

With over 20 years’ experience across various sectors of the construction industry, Emma is the creative vision behind the Group.
Prior to setting up Ardale, Emma was Managing Director at ELM Holdings managing a portfolio with a value in excess of €1 billion.
About Alan…
Chartered Accountant, Alan has been the force behind the success and growth of Ardale Property Group since its inception in 2013, ensuring consistently strong returns for our shareholders and investment partners.
Alan has a strong knowledge and understanding of the industry and the market in which the company operates and has a proven track record of delivery in both the residential and retail markets in Ireland and the UK.
About Sam…
Sam has focused on setting up and managing investment and development projects on behalf of Ardale since its inception, with a particular focus on higher return strategies involving planning, development and/or repositioning of assets.
Sam is a Chartered Surveyor with wide ranging experience in the property market for over 15 years. Sam holds an honours degree in Property Economics from Dublin Institute of Technology and is a qualified member of the SCSI and the RICS in the UK. He is a former Chairman of the SCSI Planning and Development Surveying Professional Group.
About Kevin…
Working with Ardale since 2016, Kevin has huge experience in residential development building over 1,500 houses and significant commercial projects as Commercial Director with Noonan Construction from 2000-2012 and since 2013 consulting on large scale residential and commercial developments including the delivery of over 1,200 PRS units to the Dublin market.
Kevin is a Shareholder and Director of AH Ardale Construction Ltd. Kevin is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and a qualified member of the MSCSI and the MRICS in the UK. He is also a qualified Adjudicator with a Masters in Construction Law.
About Stephen…
Working with Ardale since 2016, Kevin has huge experience in residential development building over 1,500 houses and significant commercial projects as Commercial Director with Noonan Construction from 2000-2012 and since 2013 consulting on large scale residential and commercial developments including the delivery of over 1,200 PRS units to the Dublin market.
Kevin is a Shareholder and Director of AH Ardale Construction Ltd. Kevin is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and a qualified member of the MSCSI and the MRICS in the UK. He is also a qualified Adjudicator with a Masters in Construction Law.
About Michael…
Working with Ardale since 2017, Michael will have direct responsibility for all Ardale project teams on site. He is a Qualified Structural Engineer with over 28 years of experience in the construction industry.
Currently a Director with Noonan Construction, he works across both companies albeit will be full time with Ardale on completion of Ardales Heatherside scheme in Arklow, Co. Wicklow in early 2023. Michael was involved in the direct construction of over 1,000 new homes across schemes in Wicklow, Wexford and North Dublin as well as a number of commercial and leisure developments.
About Andrew…
Andrew joined Ardale Property Group as Financial Controller in April 2022. He has responsibility for the day-to-day running of the finance function across Ardale Property Group, including AH Ardale Construction Limited.
Andrew is a Chartered Accountant, having trained with EY from 2014 – 2018, working in their Wealth & Asset Management assurance department. He then moved into the construction industry with Flynn Management & Contractors in 2018. He gained 4 years construction experience with Flynn, being promoted to Finance Manager and taking on the day-to-day running of the finance team, until his move to Ardale Property Group in 2022.
About Erin…
Erin has been working with Ardale since its inception in 2012 and prior to that was Legal Director for ELM Holdings. She has a wealth of experience in complex property-based transactions and contract law.
She is a Graduate and former lecturer-in-law at University College Dublin, a graduate of Trinity College Dublin (Construction Law and Contract Management) and holds a postgraduate qualification from the Law Society of Ireland in Corporate Restructuring. Erin is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an accredited mediator. Erin trained as a solicitor with A&L Goodbody and was an associate with LK Shields Solicitors.
